This has been stuck in my head all day

OK Computer, Hail To The Thief and In Rainbows are the best albums I think but honestly they can do no wrong and the more you listen the more you love them

Thank you! It does sound like they can do no wrong (though from the short listen I’ve had the amnesiac album seems more than a little odd).

Decided it was about time I listened to Radiohead. I’ve not been disappointed yet.

Any recommendations for which albums/songs of theirs to listen to? I’m currently intending to go through in chronological order

PhD Comics Explains the Higgs Boson

Really good, short, explanation of the higgs boson, the troubles with finding it, and why it’s so damn interesting

ring them up and explain and they’ll most likely give you an offer for the 4 year course, or I’m sure on most courses if you well enough by second year they let you transfer onto MSci for BSci. Once they’ve given you an offer they’re all super nice!

ahh, I will do thanks :). The woman who interviewed me seemed to adore me so she might even give me the same grade offer (hopefully)

Only just realised I applied for a 3 year rather than a 4 year course at Leeds, fucking hell.

Explains why my offer was so low though.

fuckity shit fuck shit fuck

Paul Mccartney sent Ringo Starr a postcard on January 31st 1969 (the day after the band’s performance on the roof of Apple Studios) saying: “You are the greatest drummer in the world. Really.”

I think poor Ringo is one of the most underrated drummers ever.
